Ou sont les Hobnobs d'antan?

Bah! -- when I suddenly crave Hobnobs, I want them to be sugary, salty, and so fatty that they leave greasy marks on paper.

Today's Hobnobs are so flippin' healthy, they're more like eating compacted sawdust. Jamie Oliver, you have a lot to answer for.

Worth trying I guess! Although I think I would sub butter in for the marge.

Oh, me too, but it's not too surprising it uses marge given its source...

Mm, that site has a lot of what I consider penny wise, pound foolish thinking. Hobnobs are an unnecessary treat in any case, so why save pennies by making them a not-very-nice treat? If I'm that hard up that the difference in cost between butter and marge matters significantly to me, I'd have cut biscuits out of my diet long before.

I guess some of the people that it's aimed at are those with children where you might want to be able to give them some kind of treat which cost less than a shop-bought one. But yes, I'm with you on that...

They're pretty damn dry but they're still fattening, so really they score zero points.

Curse you, McVities!
