Arrivals delays?

Does anyone know what the current situation is re delays to airport arrivals from overseas? We're supposed to be picking up a friend arriving from Switzerland (to Stansted) this evening, and I was wondering how much longer than usual it's likely to take.

We got stuck waiting for a gate on Monday but other than that there weren't any unusual delays getting luggage or anything like that.
