Missing!

Hmm, I seem to be missing part of the Interweb this morning -- including Google, the BBC, and one of my email servers. Bit annoying! Anyone else got this, especially if you're on BT?

BT broadband was totally screwed here; first time I think it's gone off during the day, apart from a 1-day line fault that took out the phone as well. They are building a very big hole where the wires for the exchange used to come out, so some disruption was expected...

Ah well, these things happen I guess. One ISP I was with ages ago, can't remember who now, used to email in advance about expected service disruptions -- these days it seems to be more "they'll find out soon enough". Maybe prefer not to stoke worries about unreliability!
