I've been through the old turns and sorted out the scoring system to make it a bit fairer and more logical. The way it works now is:

* anyone can guess which is the correct answer, and thus be entitled to a point if they guess it or one of those that I decide are equivalent to it;
* anyone can also nominate their favourite, and the author of the favouritest who also guessed themselves scores a point;
* you can only score points for being guessed if you also guessed yourself, but all votes score you points whether or not the voter submitted their own question.

(Blimey, i thought this was quite a simple game, but when you start trying to write things down...)

And your score is the total of these points you've amassed, set against the number of turns in which you've guessed (whether or not you also submitted a question).

So the current scores after 4 complete turns are as follows:

Special mention to bibliogirl who's guessed the correct one, or one of its equivalents, 4 times out of 4! -- with liriselei on 3/4 also worthy of note.

(And yes, I did have far too much time on my hands this afternoon. I've got all this in SQL now, which I'm sure will be very handy some day.)
