The musings of West Ham's r[o|a]ving right-sided maestro Julien Faubert:

Emile Heskey?? I must have missed that season. And if only we had been relegated just once since 1980...

My French is a bit rusty, but I think what he's getting at was that the players were like Emile Heskey... without any of them necessarily going so far as to be Emile Heskey.

Whether they were incompetent fakes of Emile Heskey, or just naturally pale shadows of Emile Heskey, either way it's a worrying proposition for the football team one loves.
