Woohoo, for the first time in almost a year my blood was acceptably full of haemogoblins. And that was my 20th donation! By the end of next year I might have earned a shiny badge for 25.

(I'm still annoyed that when I couldn't give for several years -- mostly foreign holidays -- they managed to lose me off their DB. So I have credit for about eight recentish donations but have lost the... er, ten, maybe?... I had previously. Grump.)

They lost me off their DB several years ago, and just asked me how many donations to restart my record off at. Evidently they've got more organized, or more mistrustful, since then!

Possibly because I just couldn't actually remember how many had been involved. (I kept being disqualified for a year and then going on another holiday at about the 11.5 month mark. However I've not been anywhere quite dangerous enough recently...)
