Heh. Asking it how to get me from home to work produces a similar effect. But it's strange:

OX3 0BP (brookes) to OX3 8TT (Home):
It starts from the wrong place: the end of Carwell Crescent, not Gypsy Lane.
The link from Valentia Road onto Headington Road has been closed.

Most oddly: what would you think was the shortest route between those two points? Along Old Road, and turn right? Or the route marked, which clearly goes around two sides of the triangle...
