She was one of two main literary influences on me - much of what I like and enjoy now goes back to reading her books when I was a kid. She's also one of the main influences on my writing style now.
Archer's Goon was the first one I read when I was about 11 and it completely blew me away at the time. I'd never read anything like it - the ideas were phenomenal.
